Waki Relic Musuem mourns the passing away of the Founder of Sathira Dhammasathan Center, Venerable Mae Chee Sasanee Sthirasuta.<\/p>\n

(WAki International Group Media Center 17th December) Venerable Mae Chee Sasanee Sthirasuta, founder of the Sathira Dhammasathan Center passed away at 6.23pm on Tuesday, December 7th, 2021. She was 68.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Venerable Mae Chee Sansanee was ordained as a mae chee at the age of 27. Then, she continued to study the dhamma in depth. In 1987, Venerable Mae Chee Sasanee Sthirasura established Sathira Dhammasathan in the suburbs of Bangkok, which helped single mothers with unwanted pregnancies and the victims of sexual abuse. Later on, Sathira Dhammasathan extended her works to provides a variety of dhamma programs for people of all ages, gender and walks of life.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Venerable Sansanee Sthirasuta had built the world only Green Tara Sacred Gold Cave, the world only twenty thousand green tara pagoda and mindfulness hospital for the devotees from all around the world to come and practice the dhamma in order to gain inner peace. Venerable Mae Chee Sansanee Sthirasuta worked and served the community in Thailand, at the same time, she was invited to go around the world to spread the dhamma. Over 10 years, she served as the Co-chair for the Global Peace Initiative of Women in order to creating to world peace and harmony in around the world<\/p>\r\n\r\n

During these 41 years, Venerable contributed a lot to the Buddhist world, she propagated the Buddha teaching. Her compassion towards all beings, makes her teaching reaches people of various ages, starts from prenatal education to baby, children, teenagers, adults and the elders. All local and international devotees respect and love her. Her passing on had led to lots of media coverage. Mahasayama Sutta Chanting Course Completion Ceremony<\/p>\n

(WAki International Media Center 15th December) Mahasayama Sutta Online Course Completion Ceremony was held on 26th November 2021 through Zoom, we were honoured to have Sangha members from 7 countries, namely, Germany, Norway, Sweden, England, Singapore, USA and Netherlands to witness and give blessing to the participants who had completed the course successfully.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

There was a total of 29 students from 9 countries, namely, Malaysia, USA, China, Singapore, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Indonesia and Philippines, who learned to recite the Mahasayama Sutta from Venerable Chao Khun Laow within 3 months through Zoom. In the first month, the student learned how to read the stanzas of the sutta and understood the meaning of the sutta. Venerable Chao Khun Laow guided and taught the students how to chant line by line by repeating after him. In order to let students able to recite the sutta, Venerable Chao Khun Laow also assigned homework for students to do during the week. <\/p>\r\n\r\n

Although they came from different countries and with different accent, Venerable Chao Khun Laow teached patiently and students learned and practiced with consistently to make the good progress from do not understand the meaning of the sutta turn to understand and able to chanting the sutta. We pay tribute to the late Sayadaw U Kittivara, who passed away 100 days ago, his teaching remains with us. In this very life, the late Sayadaw passed away in peaceful and calm state, due to having practice Marana Nussati meditation (death meditation) and recitation of the triple gems.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

When the Buddha passed way, the Sakka, King of the devas, recited these verses.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Impermanent indeed are all conditioned things. They are in the nature of arising and dissolution. Realize that after arising, they cease to be. The realization of Nibbana on their cessation is blissful path.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Every human being needs to face death. Before dying, they must try to do good deed and be valuable person. Human life can be divided into three stages. In the first stage, we need to be educated and to practice the Dhamma, so we can be educated and be wise. In the second stage, we have to do our jobs and practice Dhamma. If we are able to balance both, we will have a successful life and peace of mind. In the third stage, we must practice meditation, so we can attain Nibbana.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The Late Sayadaw put in practice these 3 stages perfectly, thus he created a valuable life. Therefore, we must always remember the Buddha's teaching,<\/p>\r\n\r\n
